Millicent Cup day is the day that Millicent district residents descend on the Penola Racecourse in their droves to celebrate Millicent’s biggest sporting and social event of the year.

An exciting day of action-packed racing for the whole family. There will be live music by Millicent duo JB & Crowie, food trucks, Fashion At The Races competition, bar & TAB facilities and hospitality packages available.

Fashion At The Races

We will be hosting a Fashion At The Races qualifying event on this day. There is more cash and prizes up for grabs than ever before – with prizes offered for Best Dressed Womenswear, Runner-Up Best Dressed, Best Millinery, Best Footwear Women’s and Best Dressed Menswear. Look out for the Fashion At The Races registration booth in the general admission area on the day where you can register your details, collect your number paddle and find out location and timings.

Did you know that for your $15pp General Admission entry on Cup Day, you can also become a member of the Millicent Racing Club? As well as gaining free entry to the annual Millicent Cup meeting held at Penola, members of the Millicent Racing Club can gain free entry to all Limestone Coast thoroughbred race meetings, including the Mount Gambier Gold Cup and the Penola Vigneron’s Cup meetings.
