The Balaklava Racing Club’s annual Stock & Crop Race Day will be held at the Balaklava racecourse on Wednesday 19th June 2024.
The agricultural industry would be one of the most challenging industries to be involved in but can also be very exciting and enjoyable.
The research and evolution of new technology, plant breeding, livestock genetic improvements, the expansions of our markets both within Australia and overseas show that the industry we are all involved in is always striving to improve and be the best. Over a few years, the Coronavirus put a stop to most of our field days, crop walks, going to watch our livestock being sold in the sale yards and our annual Stock & Crop race day at Balaklava as well as many of our local sporting events, something we have all never experienced before. The Agricultural industry continued strong through this period and hopefully, we are now out the other side, and life as we used to know it is starting to happen again.
The Balaklava Racing Club annual Stock and Crop Day has always been a great day for manufacturers, suppliers, advertisers, agents, and farmers to all get together in a social atmosphere discuss their business, share ideas and knowledge while enjoying a day at the races.
The fully inclusive day includes entry and a racebook and boasts an exquisite hot buffet lunch, with Coopers Fine Ales, Taylors Wines, Cider, and Schweppes soft drinks in our exclusive corporate function area with exclusive tote facility.
