Jamestown Cup Best Bets

Race 3 – Rambling
It’s not every day you see a $1.45m yearling step out in a Jamestown maiden, but here we are. Will Clarken’s mare should find this far easier than the two metropolitan maidens she’s faced this prep. Third-up and fitter for those runs, she looks very hard to beat.

Race 5 – Shakespeare
The Jolly stable have won the last two editions of the Jamestown Cup and look well placed to make it three on the trot with Shakespeare. He’s been set for this race, comes in fresh off a six-week break, and should be charging home late under apprentice Caitlyn Munro.
