QUORN CUP PREVIEW

Our Destrier can end a frustrating run for connections in Saturday’s Quorn Cup, the fifth heat of the 2025 Outback Cups Series.

The Brett Campbell-trained galloper has been runner-up at his past four starts, three in country features as he again locks horns with Ichibansan and Doctor Robert.

Ichibansan had his measure in the Port Augusta Cup two starts back before Doctor Robert proved too good winning the Hawker Cup last time out.

Ichibansan is one of two runners for Kylie McKerlie who also saddles up The True Believer who is on the seven-day back-up after finishing fourth at Morphettville last week.

Rachel Kraemer will ride in her first country feature as she makes her riding debut at Quorn on the weekend partnering Le Visor in the Cup for Judy Streets.

Kraemer has four rides for her day at the races, including Lai Flipper for Garret Lynch, Tom Jolly’s Lachaln Castle and Edgy Era for the Mark Moosha stable.
