EXALTED RUTH was well backed when a 1.5 length winner over Capricorn Ridge last time here. EUREKA’S VICTORY was a $20 chance winning at Mildura two runs back beating NEW YORK HURRICANE, who has been well supported here, before an OK run behind Quite The Lass at Murray Bridge last week. THRILL KILL has been good in three runs back from a break and led when beaten 3.85 lengths behind Whozyadeeler at Murtoa last time. He draws out but must be respected.

He looked pretty good winning a recent Morphettville trial ahead of his return and has been $3 into $2.15 since markets went up. HALLIWELL was four weeks between run and stuck on well beaten 2.9 lengths behind Hollywood High at Murray Bridge last week. She draws but looks well placed again in a race like this. SOLESUN is expensive yearling resuming here and was narrowly beaten by A Samurai Mind first-up last campaign before he was beaten 7 lengths behind Zesty Spice at Gawler as a $2 favourite and then sent to the paddock. He has trialled OK. HYPERNOVA was good on debut when beaten 2.1 lengths behind Watchme Win at Murray Bridge. He draws out but can run well again. MINE ALL MINE was a $2.60 chance when beaten 5.7 lengths in the same race. He’s got ability and has placed at three of five starts. MADAM MILLY resumes and has shown ability.

SFellow Victorian STAUNCH was a $3.10 favourite when beaten 5.1 lengths behind Jennivamoose at Moonee Valley in February and resumed with a Geelong win beating Skiing. He draws the middle and should be in the mix again. BURNING BRIGHT was good running 2nd behind Tipsy Vixen on the Parks and then covered ground and was there on the turn when beaten 5.1 lengths behind A Samurai Mind here last time. JAMROCK was beaten 2 lengths behind Grinzinger Star in the Roxby Downs Cup last time

They went up $8 which looked a big price, he’s now a $3.30 favourite and should take beating here. RESERVOIR DOG was a Gawler winner three starts back and was good last time here when beaten 1.6 lengths in 3rd behind France’s Boy. RIALTOR was back to somewhere near his when 2nd behind France’s Boy here last time. He draws the middle and should be thereabouts. STRATUM PRIDE has been racing OK and finished off well beaten 2.4 lengths behind Falanghina at Murray Bridge last week.

BRAVE STAR has been in good form and was back to winning form when he run down short-priced favourite Favourite Child last time. He gets in well after the claim and draws a nice gate. MORTY comes out of the Mildura Cup behind Jimmy The Bear and this is a drop in grade. AITCH D'AMICO was close-up behind Quite The Lass at Murray Bridge last week and draws a nice gate.

ICHIBANSAN is knocking on the door having been placed at four of his past five and was runner-up behind Lottaroc at Murray Bridge before beaten 4.5 lengths in 3rd behind Exalted Ruth here last time. BLUSHING TYCOON was good beaten 1.6 lengths behind Smiling Assassin on the Parks before he was favourite when 4th behind Eureka’s Victory at Mildura last time. HOLMES has been racing in consistent form and found winning form when too good for Red Sequoia on the Parks last time.
CAPRICORN RIDGE was a Gawler winner two starts back and then stuck on well beaten 1.5 lengths behind Exalted Ruth last time. CORONA LAD was a Geelong winner before a good effort when 2nd behind Chosen Miss and should run well despite the wide draw. POINTLESS PRAISE was good first-up from a spell and was again OK last time when beaten 10.7 length behind Sachem and draws the inside.

THE ART OF FLYING had good Port Lincoln form before landing in the Justin Pickering stable and was OK when beaten 3 lengths in 4th behind Typhoon Harmony here last time. He has trialled well again since and has placed at three of five fresh. KOMACHI was a good winner on the Parks two runs back and then followed up with another good run beaten 2.5 lengths behind Aiguilette there last time. He gets some weight relief and looks well placed. THE HASS was a good winner here first-up in SA and then solid in betting when beaten 5.5 lengths in 10th behind The Guava last time at Murray Bridge. ZARKANA is first-up here and was a good Balaklava winner in maiden class back in December. She did beat See You In Heaven in a recent rial here and has been $15 into $6. DUNMAGHLAS was $2.05 out to $3.10 when beaten 1.6 lengths behind All Beans at Bordertown. He draws a good gate and has a good record here. OVEREXTEND was beaten 1.5 lengths in 4th behind Brave Action at Mildura last time and should run well here from a wide barrier.

SEE YOU IN HEAVEN won this race last year and has been in the money at four of her five first-up runs. She has trialled OK and her best will go a long way to winning here. Stablemate KARACASU led and looked home before he was run down late last time in a solid 1100m race here. AIR ASSAULT is the X-factor resuming. His form through the carnival was excellent winning the Adelaide and Port Adelaide Guineas along with placings in the G3 Chairman’s Stakes and G1 SA Derby. He draws a good gate and can run a big race fresh. Stablemate ARUGAMAMA also resumes, she is a good mare who will measure up in some nice races but also probably needs it a touch further. Will Clarken and Niki O’Shea have the three runners. BOOGNISH is right up to winning a race like this on her best form. She strips fitter for one run back when a $2.80 favourite and beaten 3.3 lengths behind SECOND TO NUN who was brilliant resuming when she came from a mile back to win over 1100m. She’s come back great and maps to get a gun run. EPISODIC has been in great form winning four of her past six and was narrowly beaten by Exalted Dame last time.CHICAGO STORM is another resuming,he draws the middle and his carnival form was superb winning twice including the City of Adelaide before he ran a game race up in the lead when 1.6 lengths behind En Francais in the G3 Cummings last time. DUBAI POET is first-up for Michael Hickmott and has trialled OK.

DEEPFLOAT DIVA is a nice horse resuming and he was an impressive 4 length Murray Bridge winner on debut before beating Wiggum here. He was then a $1.80 favourite when 5th behind Kinetic Jewel before a break. He beat Press Down in a recent trial and looks ready to roll fresh. JEAN VALJEAN resumed from a long layoff and worked home nicely when 2nd behind The Guava. He gets some needed weight relief, he’ll be hitting the line hard again and has been $9 into $6. ZANTHRON was runner-up twice behind Lingani and Sir Now before leading through to score a 1.7 length win over Kalasec last time. THE GOV was good first-up from a spell when beaten 2.8 lengths at Mildura behind Brave Action and she draws a nice barrier. WATCHME WIN scored a 1.1 length win on debut at Murray Bridge at a price and looks to have promise.
