How it played last time:
Played fairly. Winners mostly finished just off fence to middle and raced up near the lead, off pace to midfield.
Verdict:
A fresh pad will sees the track present well, although may be rain affected, with rain forecast throughout the day. Expecting this track early, with the smaller fields, to favour horses on the pace and in the first half of the field, with plenty of straight to make ground out wide. As is normally the case, expect to see backmarkers come into play later in the day, with bigger fields and the speed on. Rain and tactics will play a prt in any pattern developing.
