Quorn Cup Preview

The 2023 G.J Gardner Homes Quorn Cup is only four days away! The last of the Outback & Flinders Ranges region’s cups, it is set to be a memorable day of racing. 

The Quorn Cup is a testament to the town's lively atmosphere and love for racing. Held at Quorn Racecourse, the event captures the excitement of thoroughbred racing, with spectators eagerly cheering on their favourite horses. The Quorn Cup is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great opportunity to immerse oneself in the local culture and forge connections with fellow racegoers.

The 2023 Quorn Cup will be a fantastic day of family fun on and off the track. An exciting 6-race card with give punters a great taste of outback racing. The Quorn Cup will be battled over 1900m, giving everyone a good opportunity to see the field as it passes the finishing post before another lap! Off the track, there will be plenty of food and wonderful drinks available plus plenty of entertainment for the kids!

The excitement kicks off on Friday night with the 2023 Quorn Cup Calcutta. Held at the community hall to accommodate the large crowd, hosted by the Transcontinental Hotel, with live music, a BBQ and the excitement of the Calcutta. This is the perfect way to start the Quorn Cup weekend and is not to be missed!  

The Flinders Ranges serve as a breathtaking backdrop for the Quorn Cup. The rugged mountain ranges, dramatic gorges, and vast plains create a picturesque setting that will leave visitors in awe. Nature enthusiasts can explore the region's diverse flora and fauna, hike scenic trails, or embark on a 4WD adventure to experience the outback's raw beauty.
