Apprentice Sheriden Tomlinson will be back in the saddle and out to build on an impressive record in partnership with the Stuart Padman stable at Morphettville on Saturday.
Tomlinson was involved in an innocuous fall at Strathalbyn on Wednesday while riding Scorpion King and said he was a bit sore but ready for the weekend.
Tomlinson has had 16 rides for the Murray Bridge horseman for five wins and six placings including his first South Australian country feature in last month’s Penola Cup with Rialtor.
“He’s a three kilogram claimer who rides like a senior,’’ Padman said.
The stable is taking things slowly with promising three-year-old Falaise who returns to the Morphettville Parks circuit following an impressive return to winning form there in April and jumps from barrier four.
Tomlinson’s claim will be vital for stablemate Rialtor, who gets in with 57kg, but has to overcome a sticky wide gate, his early speed to hopefully offset barrier 11.
Rialtor has two wins and three placings from 14 starts on the Parks circuit.
