Validated taking advantage of Racing Rewards bonuses

Talented three-year-old Validated is flying the flag for Racing Rewards SA.

The Peter and Belinda Blanch-trained three-year-old has claimed $66,900 in bonuses from just his five starts in season 2022-23 to go with more than $160,000 in prizemoney.

An eye-catcher at his first two starts, Validated has claimed bonuses at his past three wins at Murray Bridge back in December before his two wins back from a spell at Morphettville and on the Parks in March.

“He’s a great little horse,’’ Blanch said.

“Securing a couple of bonuses in his first five starts is huge for the owners.

“They are always wanting to reinvest in our stable, so the Racing Rewards are massive, and the fact is breeders also retained a share is a great result for them,’’ he said.

Validated shared Racing Rewards honours in March alongside Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas’ Party Princess, the pair banking $38,400 for the month.

Macdonald and Gluyas were the Highest Earning Trainer(s) with $3340, while Toorak Thoroughbred Breeding Trust claimed the title as the Highest Earning Nominator with $12,350 in bonuses.

Valentia and So You Think shared the Leading Sire spot each with $38,400.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly are the season’s Highest Earning Trainer ($13,000) and Highest Earning Nominator ($38,500) while Akeed Mofeed’s progeny has secured $100,400 in bonuses.
