METRO LEGEND (Trial 1)
Most eyes would have been on the first couple Philonize and Beau Rossa, who both went nicely in this trial, but there was a lot to like about the way Metro Legend cruised through the line. He covered ground, was wide on the turn and easily worked past Kemalpasa late. Looks to have returned in very good order.
IRONCLAD (Trial 2)
Missed a trip to Caulfield last weekend but plenty to like about the last 50m of his trial when he was given a little bit or reign by Todd Pannell to get close to winning the trial. We know he’s a good horse and he looks to be tracking well ahead of his return.
WAKANJEJA (Trial 7)
Three-year-old filly from the Clarken stable yet to race but looked good working home under a good hold by jockey Todd Pannell. Races in the same colours as Extremely Lucky and worth keeping an eye out for her debut. Also thought TENTERK was worth following out of this, he wanted to do a few things wrong but wasn’t beaten far.
