Leading equine feed and supplement company Hygain has continued their support in Thorough Care SA’s retried racehorse programs.
After a huge response to the Senior Appreciation Support Pack offered during Thorough Care month, where a large number of retired thoroughbreds missed out, Hygain have provided more than 100 supplementary packs across South Australia.
Hygain have provided a $50 online store voucher for whatever product the owner would like, literature, a Hygain cap and a pack of smoochies.
It also includes a nutrition consult ‘Feeding the OTT guide’ along with a discount code for 25 per cent off their next online purchase.
Cheryl Burke said she was thrilled to get an additional pack supplied by Hygain and Thorough Care SA.
“I’ve had my thoroughbred Huey for about 12 years,’’ Burke said.
“He turns 19 this month.
“I fully retired him about a month ago. We did show jumping together, we also enjoyed riding out, we did a few events and a few dressage competitions, he always gave 100 per cent and looked after me.
“I missed out on the Senior Appreciation Support Pack due to the high demand, but did receive a lovely surprise, it was very much appreciated,’’ Burke said.
