Coopers and Railway Hotel Jamestown Races

After a sell out race meeting in 2021, tickets for the 2022 Coopers and Railway Hotel Jamestown Races on Saturday, October 1st are now on sale.

Jamestown Racing Club President, Phillip Dibbel said there will be something for everyone at this years race meeting.

"For the first time we will offer a large pavillion for over 18's called 'The Tack Room' which will have music throughout the day from Marc's Mixtape.

"There will also be the private marquees available for those looking to get a group together for the day," he said.

If you are looking to turn up to the racecourse and keep the extras to a minimum, you can pre book grazing platters and sweet plates through The Good Paddock and Cakes By Zoe, which are open for orders now. You can book direct with The Good Paddock and/or Cakes By Zoe via Facebook Messenger.

Looking to just go with the flow on the day? There will be food options from the Canteen kindly run by Belalie Lodge Fundraising Committee and Elsewhere Clay Target Club and a Food Truck from Snob Catering CO.

Aside from watching the horses thunder down the straight, the kids will have a jumping castle to take full advantage of on the day too, with thanks to Kelly Kelly Legal.

For those that love the fashionable side of attending the races, Jamestown will again hold a Fashion At The Races event with multiple categories across junior and senior age groups, so now is the time to get the planning underway for that show stopping outfit.

On the day there will be free buses running from main stree hotels & Ek-wi-tee, and the Caravan Park, so leave the car at home.
