It's all about the families this sunday at the Strathalbyn Racing Club.
With amazing viewing from the grassed area trackside, this is one race meeting to pack the picnic rug and kids in the car and make the trip to Strathalbyn which is 50 minutes from the CBD.
There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained in between races with face painting, lawn games, Kelly Sports, and a GIANT sand pit.
Strathalbyn CEO, Kristy Martin said the Fleurieu Family Day has become a must do for local families and holiday makers, the attendance numbers reflecting huge growth each year.
"The addition of the very popular Farmer Darcy’s Travelling Zoo where kids can interact and hold the animals, will be a huge hit for all.
"It is a pleasure to be able to run an affordable day out for families, with free activities and a large grassed area for the kids to run with appropriate social distancing."
