RACE 1 - 1:35PM Bordertown Haulage Maiden Handicap (1000 METRES)
HOPE WAITS was a big drifter in betting on debut, beaten 4.3 lengths behind Miss Mucinni, who could be a horse with a future. That form line should measure up very well in a race like this. ELIZA’S GOLD was placed in two runs before a break and has the benefit of a recent trial, running third behind Eliza’s Gold at Naracoorte. REAL VALENTIA is on debut for Lee Creek and took benefit from two trials, winning his most recent at Naracoorte. He also draws a nice gate. COMRADE BILL has had two trials, winning at Penola then finishing fourth in a Naracoorte trial. He faces a tricky gate today. SANDHILL REBEL resumes and was runner-up here four starts back.

RACE 2 - 2:10PM Tasco Benchmark 62 Handicap (1000 METRES)
LANCASTER SOUND won two of his past three and looks hard to beat again here. He won at a Morphettville two runs back in November and resumed with a good win at Penola. This looks a very winnable race again. GAMBLER’S GIRL has a handy record and won two trials before being specked first-up in a strong race at Morphettville on Adelaide Cup Day. This is big drop in class and she looks right in this. FIRST REWARD is lightly-raced and has ability. She chased home Rohlon Drunk at Naracoorte last time and can give this a shake. AVID GENERAL led throughout to win at Edenhope last time and must be respected despite a sticky gate. WONDO BEL has been runner-up his past couple, the latest behind Cool Magnum at Naracoorte.

RACE 3 - 2:45PM Bordertown Pumps & Refrigeration Maiden Plate (1300 METRES)
MUM’S ADVICE was backed from $18-$8 at Clare when placed behind Alphaeus and looks well suited in a race like this. BLUEBERRY BOY was placed behind Fizzar at Edenhope last time out but draws a wide gate. DUGGEE’S BOY was a big drifter on debut and has the benefit of a recent Naracoorte trial. He should be thereabouts. MILITARY PRINCESS is on debut for Matt Seyers and was down the track in a Morphettville trial back in October. MAI TIME draws well and strips fitter here.

RACE 4 - 3:25PM McCarthy Transport Benchmark 62 Handicap (2000 METRES)
ENBAR was very good leading throughout at Edenhope to win last time. He draws wide but is sure to roll forward and will take some catching in this sort of class. BRONSKI looks the main danger. He has been good his past few runs and has been placed here previously. O’MIZZNA was a good winner at Penola two runs back and finished off well behind Cuban Toonite last time. JACK’S A CRACKER draws a good gate and should measure up well in a race like this. BUNGALALLY BABE was a Camperdown winner four starts back and has been around the mark in Victoria recently.

RACE 5 - 4:03PM Bordertown Stone Supplies Benchmark 70 Handicap (1550 METRES)
Looks a good race for DR DEE DEE. He has a very good record here with four wins from eight starts and was game behind Farooq in the Edenhope Cup last time when he led and was only beaten two lengths. He’ll take beating with the claim. SPLASH SOME CASH mixes his form a little bit. He was impressive winning the KI Cup before he was well beaten after racing on speed at Murray Bridge last time. PEWTER deserves to win a race, having placed at his past four, and he chased home Royal Mile at Naracoorte last time. DYAGILEV draws gate one and must be respected. TURF MAN has had one run back from a break and his best would have him in the finish.

RACE 6 - 4:33PM Doan Pharmacies Benchmark 54 Handicap (1550 METRES)
Another very open race. SADUKA was very good coming off the pace to win at Naracoorte four runs back and was sent out favourite at Penola two starts back. She draws a tricky gate but should be in the finish. JUST ROLLING is fitter for one run back from a spell. He draws wide but gets out to a more suitable trip here and has the help of a claim. HOLY SANGRA has won just one of 25 but was placed at Edenhope behind Enbarr last time. She should get a nice run from gate four. CANNIDAE wasn’t beaten far first-up from a break and had form last time in work good enough to win this. The claim helps his chances. EUROGEM was a soft winner at Clare last time and draws well. OUTINTHESTREET has been thereabouts. He made good ground behind Saduka at Naracoorte last time and comes into this fresh.

Race 7 - 5:10PM Border Ag Benchmark 54 Handicap (1200 METRES)
Another very open race. TECOFSKY ran well behind Ranger Cee Jay at Penola before being placed behind Carlaluisa at Edenhope.That form looks OK for a race like this. YOU ES MARSHAL was a good winner on the Parks track last time. He draws a tricky barrier but should be right in this. MISS HARMONIUM is first up and is worth keeping an eye on from the good barrier.
