Lincoln Moore's Monday Preview

BEST BET: STAR HILLS (Race 7)

EACH-WAY: WOUNDED SOLIDER (Race 6)

VALUE: KYSHAKA (Race 4)

RACE 1 - 1:25PM Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1550 METRES)

The McEvoy pair of FRANKIE PINOT and DEEP FORCE look hard to hold out here. FRANKIE PINOT was heavily backed and impressive beating Jonquest before taking that form to Geelong and winning. His effort there on Cup Day was only fair but he has a good gate and gets in well with the claim. DEEP FORCE finished off hard behind Cannot Be Serios last time and should be ready to produce third up from a good break. RAPID RAISER looks well suited in a race like this on his best form. He came from well back at Gawler last time and draws a good barrier which is a plus. JOURNICA had some specking and wasn’t far away behind La Richesse here last week. CROWN HARMONIUM could improve second-up from a break. REX GOLIATH will be on speed from a good gate. Watch FRANKIE PINOT score at Morphettville earlier this year.

SELECTIONS: FRANKIE PINOT, Deep Force, Journica

RACE 2 - 2:00PM Holdfast Insurance Handicap (1550 METRES)

MAGNA BELLA doesn’t win out of turn but is knocking on the door, she was good first-up, beat all but Tequila Time two back and looked to have her chance behind Miss Jane last time. The claim is a asset and if she can settled just behind the speed she won’t be far away and I’m prepared to give her one more chance. TUBBY TWO TRACKS has a good record here and was given a gun ride when she claimed the Gawler Cup last time out. She looks well suited in a race like this. QUAFFANY is a promising staying mare first-up and likely to need the run and more ground. EXTREME THRILL draws a nice gate.

SELECTIONS: MAGNA BELLA, Tubby Two Tracks, Extreme Thrill

RACE 3 - 2:35PM Schweppes Handicap (1000 METRES)

Happy to play DANTREE each-way from the good draw. I was on her first-up at a big price when she ran well behind Sitting Bull and she was too good for Nicconi Express at Murray Bridge on Cup Day. She draws a nice gate and is a good price. VIDUKA was good off a freshen-up when heavily backed behind Aadelad, but he’s drawn out. He does go well here but does look skinny at the $2.10 in early markets. EXALTED ZOE has early speed and can probably find the lead here. SIDESTREET has a handy record and was ok behind Mrs Hyde last time out. SANBUCK has been placed at seven of 14 and was a Geelong winner three starts back and that form is good enough for this. Watch DANTREE's last start win here.

SELECTIONS: DANTREE, Exalted Zoe, Viduka

RACE 4 - 3:10PM Licola's 40th Handicap (1400 METRES)

Former NSW mare DAZZLING DAMSEL gets her chance here. She was good first-up behind Hearty Lass before a very good effort pulling ground off the in-form Trip last time out. She draws barrier one and is going to take some catching here.  WHYKAYOH was fav on the outer track last week and finished off well behind Gougers, getting from 1200m to 1400m should suit, the barrier not so much. KYSHAKA is an interesting horse. She has ability and was good making ground at two runs here before a spell. She draws a good gate and won’t be far away. AMBIDAZZLE has missed a placed just once in six starts here and had specking behind Skilled Bunch at Murray Bridge last time. LEFT HAND MAN races well here with three wins from 11 starts and has been runner-up his past couple. HANKSTAR has been sent out fav at his past two but does draw a favourable barrier.

SELECTIONS: DAZZLING DAMSEL, Ambidazzle, Kyshaka.

RACE 5 - 3:50PM Adelaide Galvanising Happy Trails Series Final (BM 75 Hcp)(Qualified Horses) (1400 METRES)

RENEGADE was impressive when he controlled the race and was too good for Zatago Star last time here. This is clearly tougher but he draws a nice gate to repeat that. Stablemate YOU HADME AT HELLO was a good all the way winner last time but draws a sticky gate, SKILLED BUNCH is a progressive type but another with a tricky draw. She was a good winner here over 1300m three starts back. FAROOQ is a nice horse who has won five of 16 but the wide gate hurts his claims. He’ll take plenty on his strong first-up win and he’s tough and a winner here previously. $16 looks a big price. LA RICHESSE was impressive leading throughout on the outer track last week and she can put herself in the right spot from gate four. Sure to give this a shake. Stablemate SILVERHAWK got well back with a big weight and worked home well at Strathalbyn, wouldn’t shock me to see him flashing late if there a genuine speed. KINGSON has been racing well. Watch RENEGADE claim a last start win here.

SELECTIONS: RENEGADE, La Richesse, Skilled Bunch

RACE 6 - 4:41PM TAB Handicap (1300 METRES)

A host of scratchings here. I’m happy to go with Todd Pannell and WOUNDED SOLIDER who has two wins from six start this track and getting out to 1300m looks ideal. YULE MY HERO is a winner here and was only nailed late by Free Hand at Strahalbyn. Awide gate hasn’t helped his chances. LIKE A HEARTBEAT ran well behind Storm Voyager last time and should be thereabouts. VON SAGA has a nice turn of foot and the small field can help off set a tricky gate. LEONARDA ran well first-up at Port Lincoln, while MISS MOSH draws a good barrier and has appeal.

SELECTIONS: WOUNDED SOLDIER, Yule My Hero, Leonarda

RACE 7 - 5:10PM Terry Howe Printing Handicap (1000 METRES)

STAR HILLS is chasing five wins on the bounce and was too good for Streetcar Stranger and Parsifal last time out which is very good form. He’s right up in the weights but is sure to take some beating. I REMEMBER YOU is a watch horse a former Queenslander who won four races in Tasmania before joining Will Clarken. She sat wide in a recent trial and finished off well behind La Richesse who won well here last week. MRS HYDE look the speed in the race after leading throughout this track and trip last time out. She’s only lightly-raced and sure to be in the mix from a good gate. SAORSA was good first-up in SA and has claims. Watch STAR HILLS' last start win here.

SELECTIONS: STAR HILLS, I Remember You, Mrs Hyde
